Family Approved Dessert

Are you looking for a yummy, low carb dessert or treat that is perfect for summer? This family approved, a sherbet style dessert, is perfect for a hot summer day without all of the added sugar most treats contain.

The best part about this easy recipe is that it has 3 or less ingredients depending on your taste! All you need is fruit and a blender. I like to use the Ninja. It really chops the fruit down into a nice smooth consistency. You could also leave chunks if you’d like!

Here is what you will need:

Low carb, dessert, keto dessert, lchf, PCOS diet, healthy dessert, summer dessert, summer frozen treat, strawberries, frozen dessert, keto

Ingredients:

-1 bag or 2 cups Frozen Fruit (we love strawberries or blueberries)

-1/2 to 1 1/2 cups of Water

-Sweetener (optional)

Directions:

1. Put frozen fruit into a blender and begin blending

2. Add water a little at a time to blender until the fruit blends into the consistency of sherbet or desired consistency.

3. Depending on tastes and how tart the frozen fruit is, add a small amount of sugar to the mix. I like to use swerve.

Here is the final product! You could use any type of fruit you’d like, but berries are lower in carbs if you are eating keto.
